From a young age, Rachel was a member of the rock band, Axis. They recorded a several albums and played in their local area. After a few years, two of the members left, and one joined, to make up the four members of Corby. The band landed a contract with Liberty X's manager, Richard Hannan. The band were the opening act of a few big names. After a few years, the band changed their name to Steel Rose, and recorded some new songs. Not long after, the band split. During the years Rachel spent in the band, she wrote the lyrics to the band's own songs. Then Rachel has formed a band called Glitch Code with Paul Kirkpatrick. Rachel has collaborated with Paul Kirkpatrick to the realization of their debut album, Songs from the Cold Room, which was scheduled for release in October 2011, which features many other musicians who have recorded over the last year, the Dean Street Studios in London. During September 2011 Rachel was replaced in the band by Mollie Marriott.
